Best of Quindío

This day trip in the Coffee Region is for those who want to see more places and are only mildly interested coffee.


The day starts with a stop at Valle de Cocora, where you'll have the chance to hike or go horseback riding under the wax palm, Colombia's national tree.


After a delicious traditional lunch at Bosques de Cocora, you take an informative 90 minute coffee tour at Finca El Ocaso. You even get to collect your own coffee right off the tree!


Finish the day in Salento, a traditional coffee town, for some souvenir shopping and a look at colorful colonial buildings.


Best of Quindío is available daily except Thursdays. Pickup is at 7am from your hotel in Pereira. The tour lasts about 10 hours.


Included: Private transportation, water, lunch, admission to hike, coffee tour, travel insurance


Not included: Horseback riding, mud boots, alcoholic drinks, personal expenses, tips for local guides
