In Bogotá is one of the best museums in Colombia, Museo del Oro (Gold Museum). This museum showcases priceless pre-Columbian artifacts made by Colombia's indigenous peoples.
It's a very well organized museum that starts off with a history of gold. It then moves into the galleries to show incredible works of solid gold and pottery. Visitors can take a couple hours to go through the entire museum.
